"It Is No Longer I Who Live,

But Christ Who Lives In Me"

Come As You Are - All Are Welcome

Galatians 2:20

WELCOME TO TRANSFORMED BY LOVE

Are you struggling with the challenges of everyday life?  Feeling hopeless?  Feeling lonely or isolated?  Suffering from past or present abuse, an illness or an addiction?  Experiencing deep loss?  Discouraged or sad?  Having family issues?  Feeling stressed, confused or anxious?

We live in a beautiful world, but sometimes the struggles of this world can become too much

for us, causing us to become ill not only physically, but also mentally, emotionally and

spiritually.  So often it is the wounds of the heart that cause wounds of the body and yet

the wounds of the heart are not addressed.  Our loving God wants to bring healing and wholeness to our lives.  It is not only the body and the mind that need healing, but our hearts.

At Transformed by Love Ministries we desire to accompany individuals through the struggles of life, helping people to heal in order that they may live the life that God has designed for them.  We are a ministry of caring presence helping individuals work through life's difficulties.  Our staff is ready to listen with a compassionate and non-judgmental ear.  We pray with individuals and we can connect them with other resources that can help them.  We are here to accompany individuals on their journey to wholeness of the

mind, body, and soul.

Transformed by Love Ministries is a free service.  We provide confidential

one-on-one Christian care.  We work in collaboration with:

Essentia Health

St. Joseph's Medical Center

Spiritual Care Services

Brainerd, MN

We welcome and serve people of all faiths, those who follow a particular faith and those

who do not.  We acknowledge that all people are created in the image of God and that all

people have dignity and are worthy of love.  No one is exempt from the fullness and

healing power of God's love.  Transformed by Love Ministries is an environment

that welcomes you to "come as you are."

"I have come so that you may have life

and have it abundantly."

PRAYER
MINISTRY

Prayer, an essential to faith and the source of strength for our journey, is at the  core of our ministry.  We will listen to you with a compassionate, non-judgmental ear, we will love you with the love of God and encourage you, and we will pray with you.  We are a ministry of  presence - a listening and loving presence.  This prayer time is the beginning of your journey - of your healing of mind, body, and soul.

After we have prayed with you, we may recommend other resources that would be beneficial to you.  Please feel free to send us your prayer requests.

PRAYER/STUDY
GROUPS

God never intended for any of us to live our lives alone.  We all need companionship and community.  Coming together to learn and to share with one another is a necessary element in our journey to wholeness.  The community helps us to grow, both individually and together.  Having our Christian community surround us with compassion and encouragement lightens our loads, strengthens us, and gives us courage.  Community gives us a way of guiding each other more fully in the ways of Christ.

COMMUNITY
EVENTS

Coming together in community grows our awareness of God in all people, and in all creation, actively at work in our world.  God desires us to experience His love through others.  Each of us are members of the body of Christ and are a necessary part of the body.  Transformed by Love Ministries participates and hosts events that gather people together to promote unity and the breaking down of walls.  All events are focused on creating an environment conducive to an encounter with and deepening of our relationship with Jesus Christ.

COLLABORATIVE
HEALING TEAM

All of us suffer with the struggles of life and we all have different needs to enable us to live the full and abundant life that God desires for each of us.  Many times the healing that is needed is more than superficial, it is a healing of the wounds of the heart.  Wounds of the heart include unforgiveness, lack of self worth, anger, pride, addictive behaviors, isolation, anxiety, etc.  These wounds also need a treatment plan, without this we cannot live the abundant life that God desires for us.

Transformed by Love Ministries works hand in hand with many resources that can assist you in your journey to wholeness.  These resources include healthcare professionals, counselors, clergy, churches, and social and community services.  We serve as a bridge, connecting individuals to resources who will journey with them.  Each of these resources understands that they are a part of God's healing team and that Jesus is the Divine Physician.

ART of ALCHEMY
GALLERY

The gallery features several artists.  Through their art, these artists began to open to the healing embrace of our loving God, and soon recognized that the canvas became their medicine while the healer was Jesus Christ.  For these artists, spoken words were not achievable, the wounds being so interiorly deep that words could not explain the magnitude of their pain.  As these artists took to canvas the words gushed forth in their paintings, drawings, and sculptures, and the healing began.

Alchemy is defined as, a science that was used in the Middle Ages to change ordinary metal into gold; a power or process that transforms something in a mysterious or impressive way.  God is our alchemist, He transforms us from ordinary into gold in a mysterious and impressive way.  God is the giver of all gifts and of all things good.  God desires us to live life to

the fullest.

ST. MOTHER TERESA
CHAPEL

"At the end of life, we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done.  We will be judged by, "I was hungry and you gave me to eat, I was naked and you clothed me, I was homeless and you took me in.  Hungry not only for bread-but hungry for love.  Naked not only from clothing-but from human dignity and respect.  Homeless not only for want of a room of bricks-but homeless because of rejection."   St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta

The streets of Calcutta are here in our community.  The poorest of the poor walk among us.  Poor, not monetarily, but poor in self-worth and dignity, starving for love.  Our chapel is a quiet place away from daily life.  It is open to anyone who needs a quiet reprieve from the world.  The presence of God can be felt here.  We invite you to visit and to spend some time alone with

the Lord.
